Pastor
Pastor Mike Bankston was appointed to Wrightsville First in June of 2019. Mike graduated from Middle Georgia State University with a degree in History. Mike attended seminary and received his Masters of Divinity at Candler School of Theology at Emory. Mike is married to Jenny Heard Bankston who is a teacher at Central Georgia Technical College. Mike has a passion for Christ and serving the church. He and Jenny love to travel. They love their pets (2 cats and a dog). Mike would love to talk to you about Wrightsville First.
Children's Ministry/Nursery
Nicole Bray joined our staff in 2015. She oversees our nursery and is a teacher in our Children's church during our 11 am worship. Nicole is married to Robert Bray. We rotate volunteers to teach classes in the CHildren's ministry and we use the Orange curriculum.
Preschool
Wrightsville First has a growing preschool program. Our director is Janibeth Outlaw. Janibeth joined our staff in 2017. She graduated from UGA with a degree in Art Education and Marriage and Family Therapy. She worked as teacher for over eight years. Janibeth is also the current mayor of Wrightsville. Janibeth is married to Jason and they have three children. Janibeth would love to talk to you about our preschool program.
